2009 has been an interesting year for our family. Watching Sofia grow into the little girl she is now, it's crazy to think that just last Christmas, we were stuck in a snowstorm with a newborn babe in hand. The latter half of this year has also been stressful for us; getting laid off, transitioning to being a working mom and now some big decisions ahead re. my career and work for future. Rob has been super supportive through it all despite his work demands this year have caused stress for him too.
I am happy with our first year as parents and am proud to have survived it with good results from good intentions. It hasn't been an easy year and I have no doubt that 2010 will bring along more surprises and changes for our family. Then again, what is life if it is dull and boring?
